A Personal Journey
The Bible is important for Christianity. It contains the answers to all of life’s questions and changes the way we view the world. Most importantly, it teaches us how to have a true, meaningful life with God.
These verses show the plan of salvation:
GOD LOVES YOU
John 3:16 (KJV) For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Romans 5:8 (KJV) But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
WE ARE ALL SINNERS
Romans 3:10 (KJV) As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:
Romans 3:23 (KJV) For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
HOW GOD DEALS WITH SIN
Romans 6:23 (KJV) For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
John 1:12 (KJV) But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
EVERYONE CAN BE SAVED
John 20:31 (KJV) But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.
Romans 10:13 (KJV) For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
Revelation 3:20 (KJV) Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
Belief for believers comes from God’s Word. The Gospel tells us that because Christ died for us, anyone who believes and has faith in Him can know that their sins have been forgiven once and for all.
