THE PATH TO FORGIVENESS

Proverbs 19:11 (KJV) The discretion of a man deferreth his anger; and it is his glory to pass over a transgression.

It’s terrible when our emotions hurt us. People often hurt our feelings when they say something hateful or speak in a harsh tone. It’s annoying when loved ones forget our birthdays, anniversaries or other special events. In most cases, the offender does not know or intend to cause sadness. When it comes to forgiveness, we need to be careful and let go of unintentional wrongs against us.

Look deep inside of the situation and you’ll see what you hate or dislike isn’t the person but there actions or deeds. Finding the source of our anger is the first step to forgiveness.
