Matthew 19:26 (KJV) But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.
All things are permitted but not all things are acceptable. Nowadays, the final part of this verse is so famous that we interpret it as because God is with me, then all things are possible for me. Actually, God does not assure that we are able to achieve every venture. Humanity is completely unable to gain salvation through personal effort—only God can save, due to God’s omnipotence—his absolute power to what he pleases. God’s plan is greater than my plans. We may not always get what we want when we want but God knows best. Trust him.
